
In creating this banner ad, I tried to stick to the ideals set out in the idea mapping exercise below. Unlike most of the class, I used the idea map to identify ideals and qualities that the client wanted to portray in their ad, and that they want associated with the identity of their company - as opposed to actual design layout. I used this method to ensure brand consistency. In the interview, I asked if the client was happy generally with development of their entire online branding, inclusive of banner ads and asked them to endorse continued development. I created the banner in Photoshop and uploaded it straight into this post. The audio was edited in Audacity and uplaoded to Divshare.com, from where I embeded it to this blog.
